A friendly, no-frills resort on Blackduck Lake. There are lots of fun toys and infant/kids life jackets by the beach, which is appreciated. Kayaks, paddleboards and paddle boats are free to use as well. Dock available if you decide to bring your own boat. We've been able to find fish on the lake each time we've visited. Did mention the last time we were there that the cabin could have used a more thorough cleaning, but staff were apologetic and said they would get things taken care of. The last time we visited I had a chance to do some watercolor painting by the beach. Looking forward to going back next year!

I stayed at Dunrovin as a fall outing for Women Anglers of Minnesota and had an absolute blast! I stayed with a large group in cabin 11. It's a very tiny roomy cabin with plenty of space for larger gatherings. The only thing negative worth mentioning was that the cabin itself smelled quite strongly of mildew. We aired it out and had fans running and that helped quite a bit, but running a dehumidifier year round (as well as the furnace fan) might help. I also left something behind and they shipped it back to be quickly.

We recently just stayed at Dunrovin and it was a pretty nice resort! We stayed in cabin 2 which is one of the older cabins offered and it was comfy, spacious, and clean for our group of 5. We had our 6 year old son with and there was more than plenty of activities to keep him busy! He loved the beach and all of the water sports equipment! Great views from the beach area as well! I originally rented a smaller fishing boat but upon arrival the outboard wasn't working so they upgraded me to their 19ft alumacraft which was loaded with electronics and new ipilot trolling motor at no extra charge which was very nice of them to do! As far as the docks go, it is set up like a small marina with TONS of room to maneuver around no problem! They are newer docks with power hookups within reach of all the slips. Blackduck lake is a fantastic lake with monster panfish and a great walleye fishery. If you're looking for a great place to take the kids and don't want to break the bank then this is a great place to stay!

Loved the experience and the owners! They were nothing short of amazing. They are pet friendly so that’s a massive plus as we hate leaving our dogs behind! The beach was amazing, they have kayaks, paddle boards and a kids little paddle boat. The fishing was amazing as well! We found the right spots and couldn’t stop catching monstrous bluegill, walleyes, and northerns! We stayed in cabin 8, very spacious, beds were comfy but 2 rooms don’t have A/C units but fans are provided for those 2 rooms. The fans are broken, but still work. The bathroom is gross, we went and bought a shower mat, the sink water goes everywhere, and the toilet screams at you when you flush it. There are only 2 mixing bowls, so bring your own! They said they are in the process of making updates, so this all will hopefully change soon. All in all, it was a great trip, great place, great people and we have our trip booked for next year and we absolutely can’t wait!!!

HIGHLY recommend staying at Dunrovin. I don't have one negative thing to say. You will not find nicer and more accommodating resort owners in the area! They are THEE best and will make your stay here the absolute best experience. I stayed here with my husband and our bridal party as well as some family members for our fall wedding this year and we had a GREAT time. We originally had reservations at a nearby resort but it quickly turned into a nightmare... We reached out to Dunrovin Resort and last minute they were able to get us cabins and at a good deal for our wedding. They truly turned our wedding weekend around. The cabins are very roomy, well kept, and has mostly everything you could need! I will be staying here again, I can't wait to visit during the summer time and experience the lake/fishing! Cannot thank Shannon and Larry enough for making what could have been a nightmare weekend into one to remember :) -a very happy bride

Cozy and beautiful place. The shower head in the bathroom at the CABIN where we stayed needs a new one! It's up to the neighbors whether you can relax or not. But we will be back here if we have a chance.

My family stayed in cabin 13 and it was the best getaway I could have asked for! My kids loved all the space, the swimming, the fishing, etc. The view of the lake was gorgeous (as you can see) and the owners were fantastic. They were so great to talk to and get to know. This is the perfect place to bring a family and get away from the cities.

We enjoyed every minute of our two month stay at Dunrovin resort. The owners are probably the nicest people we've ever met. They were so helpful and accommodated all of our needs. The cabins are well kept and the views are to die for. The grounds are perfect for pets, kids, fun, sun, beer, or just a nice quiet day on the water. We cant wait to go back!
